Problem
This document describes the steps for the MSF dump process.
Resolving The Problem
Note: The need for capturing an MSF Dump described below has been replaced in most situations by simply tracing MSF: TRCTCPAPP APP(*MSF), reproducing the failure, then ending the trace TRCTCPAPP APP(*MSF) SET(*OFF), and capturing the trace files out of the profile's printer output that initiated the trace.
In a few scenarios an MSF Dump may still be needed. If needed, this snap-in creates an AnyMail/MSF dump as a spooled file under user profile QMSF (WRKSPLF QMSF). One spooled file is generated for each call to the dump snap-in (for example, one spooled file per MSF mail message).
Note: Some e-mails are split into multiple MSF mail messages. To activate the snap-in, do the following:
