Is there a way to get a list of all files in various user libraries and the sizes of each file?
To get a list of all the files in various user libraries and the sizes of each file, do one of the following:
| o | To produce a spooled file with a list of all the objects in the specified library and the file sizes, run the following commands: DSPLIB OUTPUT(*PRINT) The list includes all objects rather than only files. |
| o | Use the Display Object Description (DSPOBJD) command. This command can limit the output by object type of *FILE. The output can be directed to a spooled file or to an output file. If an output file is used, queries can be created that would pull out only the fields that the user is interested in for the report. In this case, only the object name and size are relevant. |
