getParameterValue method in Python scripting is not picking up parameters passed via command line

Question & Answer

Question

Running a stream with a few parameters and using a simple Python script like this to capture the parameter value: stream = modeler.script.stream() storeParm = stream.getParameterValue('TestParm1') print "TestParm1 value is: " + str(storeParm) Running that stream and script from within the Modeler client works fine. But running the same stream through the command line through Modeler batch and the parameter value being passed by the command line is not picked up by that same Python script syntax. Why?
