Problem
Get "Unable to update device list" error message when using remote control of Advanced Management Modules
Symptom
When user configure the SSH tunnel and Java security policy to allow the HTTP port traffic between client workstation and AMM, but user still receive "Unable to update device list" error message in remote control window.
Cause
The TCP port between remote client workstation and AMM might be blocked.
Resolving The Problem
To address this problem, User should allow port 3900 in SSH tunnel and Java security policy. For instance, if user would like to have to access the uefi menu of blade server via remote control of AMM, user need to configure the SSH tunnels in putty software to add 3900 as a forwarded port, which establish a SSH tunnel between client workstation to the remote presence service of AMM.
After configuring the SSH tunnels, user might also to allow the 3900 port on local workstation.
