Question & Answer
Question
RSA token authentication with WebSEAL requires an RSA SecurID node secret file. How to create this?
Answer
The node secret file is called securid. The file is sent upon the first successful authentication between the RSA ACE/Agent client and RSA ACE/Server.
In this case WebSEAL is the RSA client. Use your browser for a test/dummy token authentication to WebSEAL. This will generate your 'securid' file.
As this file will be written by WebSEAL (during the first authentication attempt), the ivmgr user will need appropriate write permissions to the VAR_ACE directory. (typically '/opt/ace/data' on unix type environments)
