FTP Connection Rejected with Message TCP3D0B

Troubleshooting

Problem

The IBM iSeries family of servers' FTP client connection is rejected with message TCP3D0B.

Resolving The Problem

An IBM iSeries family of servers' FTP client connection is rejected with message TCP3D0B by the Host
Application Function QIBM_QTMF_SERVER_REQ. When using the WRKREGINF command to look at that
exit point, it does not have any exit point programs assigned to it.

To resolve this issue,
1) Open up iSeries Navigator, right-click on the system name, and select
Application Administration > Local Settings.

2) Then select the Host Applications tab, expand
TCP Utilities for iSeries > FTP Client > Initiate Session.
Select Customize at the right side of the panel and ensure the user or users have proper access.
