This technote identifies an issue that can occur when using IBM Rational Common Licensing (FlexLM) with IBM Rational ClearCase (CC) where the license server host information is incorrectly written into the flexlm_host file during install if a non-default port is specified during site prep.

Symptom

When using Rational Common Licensing (Flex/LM) with ClearCase, if a non-default port is specified during site prep, the license server host information is incorrectly written into the flexlm_host file during install.
