Abstract

Update Installer Version 6.1.0.17 gives an error message "Prerequisite checking has Failed" while installing the IBM HTTP Server Fix Pack for a WebSphere Application Server 6.0.2 release.

Update Installer Version 6.1.0.17 gives an error message while installing or upgrading any IBM HTTP Server Fix Pack for a WebSphere Application Server 6.0.2 release. The installation will not proceed after displaying this "Prerequisite checking has Failed." message.

The previous work around for this problem was to use Update Installer Version 6.1.0.15 for installing IBM HTTP Server Fix Pack for a WebSphere Application Server 6.0.2 release. The Update Installer Version 6.1.0.15 installation packages can be downloaded from this Link.

The current work around for the problem is to use Update Installer Version 6.1.0.19. The Update Installer Version 6.1.0.19 installation packages can be downloaded from this Link.
