APARs/Known Issues fixed in IBM Content Navigator version 3.1.0
| APAR / Known Issue | Description |
|---|---|
| DT269877 | (IBM Content Navigator users) EDS filter exception details are not written to the server logs. |
| DT270282 | (IBM Content Navigator users) Task Manager task instances are not rescheduled after server is restarted - the next scheduled task instance is not created after one or more restarts. |
| DT270303 | (IBM Content Manager users) Database schema is not set in the orm.xml file for WebSphere, for Task Manager, during deployment. |
| DT277164 | (IBM Content Navigator users) Configure IBM Content Navigator Web Application task does not connect to Oracle WebLogic if it is configured for SSL. |
| DT365463 | (IBM Content Navigator users) Users may be unable to check in document using Merge and Split action if the document is created by an entry template. |
| DT365927 | (IBM Content Navigator users) Entry templates may fail to render correctly when first opened or loaded. |
| DT378558 | (IBM Content Navigator users) When using Edit Service client v3.0.15-IF001 with SAML SSO configured using IBM Access Manager (IAM), the client fails to connect to Navigator server. Instead of downloading the document, the client hangs keeping Navigator window open. |
| DT379881 | (IBM Content Navigator users) An unnecessary confirmation dialog is displayed informing that property values were modified, if properties of a document are modified and saved from the viewer window and the Next button in the viewer window is clicked. |
| DT380062 | (IBM Content Navigator users) During ICN use, a large number of detached Event Listeners are seen when capturing a memory dump of the Memory tab of browser's Developer Tool's menu. |
| DT380888 | (IBM Content Manager OnDemand users) An error occurs when opening an AFP or line data document from a folder which has an ampersand in the name. |
| DT380960 | (IBM Content Navigator users) Gibberish characters are displayed when viewing documents with extension .mht, that contain Hebrew text. |
| DT380961 | (IBM Content Navigator users) The browser status (message) bar shows incorrect characters when using Czech language. |
| DT382133 |
(IBM Content Manager users) ‘Failed to load data’ error can occur if the content list of a folder or search is refreshed after sorting by one of the displayed attribute columns.
|
| DT386070 | (IBM Content Navigator users) Entry Templates may not render correctly when used with EDS. |
| DT386267 | (IBM FileNet Content Manager users) Extra searches are done to retrieve locale text of FileNet Content Manager (P8) choice list if there is no country specified for the locale of ICN requests. |
| IO29281 | (IBM Content Navigator users) Download as PDF action on some .msg files may produce incorrect PDF documents that contains extra blank pages. |
| IO29316 | (IBM Content Navigator users) Browsing to sub-folders does not work if parent folder is opened using a link. |
| IO29328 | (IBM FileNet Content Manager users) Plugin service call is made instead of being skipped when request filter returns non-null JSON response. |
| IO29359 | (IBM Content Manager users) Merge and Split feature does not work correctly if the document's item type does not have an annotation part. |
| IO29373 | (IBM Content Navigator users) If more than 10 values are added to a multi-valued property using an inline editable list field and the Enter key is pressed, the field disappears without the values being saved. |
| IO29374 | (IBM Content Navigator and IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW) users) When using the work page filter in BAW, if the user moves the mouse cursor on the Info icon, hover help text or note is displayed. If the user moves the cursor out of text, the filter window closes automatically instead of only closing the note. However, if the user clicks on X to close the note, then the filter stays open. The symptom also occurs in the Search feature of Content Navigator when the mouse cursor is moved over the Info icon of any of the search panel's input fields. |
| IO29375 | (IBM Content Manager users) When running a search for documents with 'All versions' selected, the document properties can be edited when the document is not displayed on the first page of the search results. The document properties should never be editable when 'All versions' is selected. With this fix, the document properties will not be editable when the document is displayed on any page of the search results. |
| IO29377 | (IBM Content Navigator users) When single sign-on (SSO) is enabled and the server returns a 401 code for re-authentication, ICN does not handle it gracefully. With the fix, this error is correctly interpreted as a session expired situation and re-authentication is triggered. |
| IO29383 | (IBM FileNet Content Manager users) The History of document shows event creator's short name instead of full name. |
| IO29384 | (IBM Content Navigator for Microsoft Office users) IBM Content Navigator for Microsoft Office fails to process authentication when SSO is configured using Microsoft Azure AD. |
| IO29385 | (IBM Content Navigator users) The Edit Service client fails to login using SSO with Azure Active Directory. |
| IO29387 | (IBM Content Navigator users) When opening a .eml extension email file using Ajax Viewer, the 'Sensitivity' label is not shown. |
| IO29389 | (IBM Content Navigator users) When a new desktop is created by selecting an existing desktop and clicking Copy or by clicking New button, the existing desktops are not displayed anymore. The only way to restore the display of existing desktops is by restoring the Content Navigator configuration database from a backup created prior to creating the new desktop. |
| IO29394 | (IBM FileNet Content Manager users) When adding a FileNet Content Manager repository with a corbaloc URL containing a query string, an error occurs when connecting to the repository, preventing the repository from being created. |
| IO29395 | (IBM FileNet Content Manager users) Hidden fields in an entry template are displayed after upgrade to v3.0.11 or later. This symptom occurs only with existing entry templates where the property specified as hidden has data type xs:timestamp and isDateOnly is set to true in ACCE web client. New entry templates created after upgrade do not show this symptom. |
| IO29396 | (IBM FileNet Content Manager users) Event count for a document is displayed incorrectly as 0 in Doc Info pane for non-admin users. This does not match the count that is displayed in the History tab of the Properties dialog. |
| IO29401 | (IBM Content Navigator users) Mutated vowels for German language are displayed incorrectly. |
| IO29405 | (IBM Content Navigator users) A 'No secret key' error occurs when using Edit Service client with Kerberos SSO. |
| IO29412 | (IBM Content Navigator users) The DB2/zOS database script does not create tablespace for TASK_QUEUE table. |
| IO29413 | (IBM Content Navigator users) If the Content Navigator profile does not contain a P8 repository, then user desktops fails to load. The server log contains an error message, 'Caused by: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org.apache.log4j.Layout'. |
| IO29417 | (IBM Content Navigator users) The browser cache is not refreshed when a plugin updated. Users need to clear the browser cache manually in order to see the plugin changes. With this fix, once the prior browser cache that was made without the fix is cleared, the subsequent browser cache is refreshed automatically once the plugin is updated, all ICN servers are restarted, and the browser is reloaded. The fix requires the following rule to be present in the ESAPI web application firewall policy file, ESAPIWafPolicy.xml.default, as part of the fix: <add-header name="Cache-Control" value="no-cache" path="./plugin/./getResource/.*"/>. Refer to documentation here. |
| IO29419 | (IBM Content Navigator users) Custom labels are not honored in ICN when using application language other than English. |
| IO29421 | (IBM Content Navigator users without IBM Content Manager OnDemand repositories) When clicking on the Results Display button of a new or an existing search, an error occurs. The application server log file contains an error, 'java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/ibm/edms/od/ODConfig' when the error occurs. |
| IO29422 | (IBM Content Navigator users) Microsoft Office documents (Word and PowerPoint) with Hebrew text are incorrectly converted to PDF. The orientation of the text is not preserved, and some characters fail to be converted in the output PDF. |
