Finding the ILO address on an HP host

Question & Answer

Question

How do I find the ILO address on an HP host?

Answer

1. Run the following command as root:

    /sbin/hponcfg -w /tmp/ilo_addr.xml

Note: This command does not work on Proliant -G2 hosts without the iLO Advanced license or firmware version 1.42 or later.

2. View the xml file which contains the ILO IP address.
