Is there a way to filter data with the user's default site in the Reliablity Engineering Center ?
Answer
1. Go to the Assets application in Maximo.
2. Find assets starting with for example: 11430
11430 is under BEDFORD Site while 11430F is under FLEET site.
3. Go to the Reliability Engineering Center using the Marcia user.
4. Click on Integration in the left panel - Click on the Associate Devices tab.
You can see assets from BEDFORD, FLEET site like on the following screenshot.
The Marcia user's Default Insert Site is currently BEDFORD. This user wants to see only their default site (BEDFORD)'s assets.
5. In order to achieve this requirement, go to the Object Structure application and find the MXAPIASSETMETER record.
6. Select Action / Query Definition.
Add the condition " and siteid in ( select defsite from maxuser where userid =:user)" in meterswithdevices and meterswithnodevice.
Only the assets located in the BEDFORD site will then be displayed.
