Question

Can I move FileNet Content Platform Engine (CPE) thumbnails from database storage to CPE File Storage Area?

Answer

The underlying design of the CPE is to store thumbnails only in the Object Store database table "thumbnail". Specifically, the thumbnails can only be stored within the CPE Object Store database.

If the cumulative size of the database table "thumbnail" is growing too large, consider using a lower quality image for the thumbnails. The quality of the thumbnails can be updated via ACCE.
