File upload doesn't work via Internet Explorer

Troubleshooting


Problem

If you are using the IE11 to access the SDS VA LMI and going to " Configure -> Custom File Management " to upload files e.g. to CustomIn folder or Certificates folder, then it might happen, that you get the message like this
      CTGIDQ045I The C:\temp\sample.ldif  file is uploaded.
after browsing for the file at the local disk and pressing "Save Configuration", but in real the file was not uploaded.
It will not be listed in the according folder.
A file upload via the SSH CLI and idsgetfile tool works properly.
