Why is the file name not populated in the prompt while saving a pdf file using IE11 in Atlas 6.0.3.x?
Cause
This is caused by the Adobe PDF Reader Add-on in IE 11 when Adobe PDF Reader is installed on the desktop. The file name is populated as "DocumentViewServlet.pdf" in the save prompt
Answer
- Launch MS Internet Explorer
- Click on Tools > Internet Options
- Click on Programs > Manage Add-ons
- Click on Adobe PDF Reader Add-on
- Click Disable button and click Close
- Click OK button
- Relaunch Internet Explorer
