"This file does not have an app associated with it for performing this action" when click on Controller icon (which downloads ICA file) in Citrix website, when trying to launch Controller-on-Cloud

Troubleshooting


Problem

User launches Controller-on-Cloud website. User authenticates. User clicks on the relevant Controller icon.
This downloads an ICA file (which is used by the Citrix client to connect to the Controller-on-Cloud system). However, an error appears.

Symptom

This file does not have an app associated with it for performing this action. Please install an app or, if one is already installed, create an association in the Default Apps Settings page.
