Troubleshooting
Problem
When using CICS Transaction Gateway (CTG) for connection between server and host the signon to CICS may fail because of user ID and/or password defined in the ASF web client being incorrect. The failure to sign on is accompanied by the following error messages/symptom strings: 1. Windows as server platform (Note: userID/password verification by RACF requires the CTG connection to have been defined with ATTACHSEC=VERIFY.) DOC1116E The session could not be started.
