Failing signon when using CICS Transaction Gateway for connection to the host

Troubleshooting


Problem

When using CICS Transaction Gateway (CTG) for connection between server and host the signon to CICS may fail because of user ID and/or password defined in the ASF web client being incorrect. The failure to sign on is accompanied by the following error messages/symptom strings: 1. Windows as server platform (Note: userID/password verification by RACF requires the CTG connection to have been defined with ATTACHSEC=VERIFY.) DOC1116E The session could not be started. Correct user Id/password in the DocNetworkConfiguration.xml
