Failed to connect to Process Agent under PAM authentication

Troubleshooting


Problem

Running "nco_pa_status -user " getting failed connection error when using pam_tally2.so module.

Symptom

The root account was able to connect to the Process Agent but not the non-root account even with membership in ncoadmin group. The message "Error: E-PRO-000-000: Failed to make a connection to NCO_PA" is displayed even when the correct password is entered.
