Extending the timeout used when connecting to a license server

Troubleshooting


Problem

On slower networks, the time it takes IBM® Rational® Performance Tester (RPT) to communicate with the license server can exceed the default of two minutes.

Symptom

The following error message displays:

"Timed out after XX seconds waiting for the license server. Check network connectivity to the license server and ensure the lmgrd process is running."
