Troubleshooting
Problem
After exporting an excel file that has a forward slash generated in the name, the file size if 0KB and returns an error if tried to be opened.
Symptom
1. Find a report or journal type in controller web with a forward slash (/) in the name.
2. Click ‘Export data’
2. Click ‘Export data’
3. After a few seconds, chose ‘Save as’:
4. Then look at the file, and you will find that its size is 0 kb:
5. Then try to open it and you get the following error:

Microsoft Excel Excel cannot open the file ‘[file name]’ because the file format or file extension is not valid. Verify that the file has not been corrupted and that the file extension matches the format of the file.

Also, when you open the XLSX file (in NotePad) it is completely empty:
