Troubleshooting
Problem
When set up LSF environment on RHEL 7, ". profile.lsf" shows error "/lib/libc.so.6 not installed".
Diagnosing The Problem
Compared the profile.lsf file with the version from binary type: linux2.6-glibc2.3-x86_64, you found the problematic profile.lsf comes from License Scheduler's stand-alone installation package.
If LSF is ready, you need to follow the instruction strictly and install LS with LSF rather than installing LS stand-alone. So that you can avoid the profile.lsf issue.
From documentation about "Install License Scheduler with LSF(UNIX)"
https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSETD4_9.1.3/license_scheduler/ls_install_unix.html
Resolving The Problem
To solve the problem, you need to install /lib/libc.so.6 by "yun install ld-linux.so.2" on RHEL 7.
IBM will update the profile.lsf within License Scheduler's stand-alone installation package in next major release.
