Executing Oracle Stored Procedure from SQLTerm returns error: ORA-06576, ORA-00900

Troubleshooting

Problem

To execute an Oracle Stored procedure use call and parenthesis i.e. call testproc();

Symptom

When executing an Oracle Stored procedure from SQLTerm the following errors are returned:

call testproc

DS-DBMS-E400: UDA driver reported the following on connection 'Oracle':

UDA-SQL-0107 A general exception has occurred during the operation "execute immediate".

ORA-06576: not a valid function or procedure name

exec testproc

DS-DBMS-E400: UDA driver reported the following on connection 'Oracle':

UDA-SQL-0107 A general exception has occurred during the operation "execute immediate".

ORA-00900: invalid SQL statement
