Problem

Windows application using IBM DB2 ODBC and DB2 .NET Provider abnormally terminates

Symptom

Windows Event Viewer log will return message similar to below. In example below the crashing application is Microsoft IIS process w3wp.exe with exception 0xc0000005 in db2clio.dll
