Errors encountered when creating web services or generating schemas

Troubleshooting


Problem

When attempting to work with Maximo Web Services, error BMXAA4214E or BMXAA4160E are displayed

Symptom

Error BMXAA4214E and encountered after clicking the Generate Schema, WSDL, and View XML within the Web Services Application
Error BMXAA4160E received when trying to create a new Web Service.



The stack traces in the log will look similar to the following when attempting to create a new web service:


10:58:04:796 [ERROR] [MXServer] [] BMXAA6445E - Cache MXWSREGISTRY could not be initialized. Log out and then log in again to refresh your database connection.
psdi.util.MXSystemException: BMXAA4160E - A major exception has occurred. Check the system log to see if there are any companion errors logged. Report this error to your system administrator.
