Problem
This document shows how to fix the problem when encountering this error message.
Symptom
If you make a new Informix Dynamic Server installation and attempt to initialize a new instance, you will get the following error:
- $ oninit -ivy
exec(): 0509-036 Cannot load program oninit because of the following
error:
0509-130 Symbol resolution failed for /usr/lib/libc_r.a
