Problem
This article describes an error that can occur when installing Informix Dynamic Server version 10.
Symptom
You are installing IBM® Informix® Dynamic Server (IDS) version 10.00 and receive this error message:
The directory /tmp/istemp########
does not contain enough space to extract temporary files.
Please specify a temporary directory using the -tempdir
option. Use the -help option for more information.
(Values of ########are not relevant to identifying this problem.)
