Problem
This technote provides a solution for the error: []Warning – Invalid Login
The schema repository does not contain any user database[] which you receive when trying to connect to an Oracle Database with the IBM® Rational® ClearQuest® (CQ) client.
Symptom
You might get this error if you do not have your Oracle environment set up correctly. The full error is:
Warning – Invalid Login
The schema repository does not contain any user database.
The login name "admin" or password you entered is incorrect.

Details are:
Unable to logon to the ORACLE database "cqmaster".
The vendor error message was:
SQLDriverConnect: RETCODE=-1, State="®, Native Error=0When trying to update your connection or creating a new connection to an Oracle database in the ClearQuest Maintenance tool, you might get this error:
An error was encountered with the database. You may have specified a database of unknown origin or a ClearQuest user database instead of a ClearQuest Schema Repository. Please specify a valid ClearQuest Schema Repository.
