Troubleshooting
Problem
When using UCB with SQL Server databases, the following error occurs when starting the UCB server:
2022-02-04 13:10:29,571 ERROR Thread-0+DBC JdbcEnvironmentImpl - User: (unknown) - Could not fetch the SequenceInformation from the database com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerException: The "variant" data type is not supported.
Symptom
After installing or upgrading UCB, the UCB server might not start if you are using SQL Server database.
