Troubleshooting
Problem
When attempting to start the Cognos BI Server using the Cognos Configuration tool, or by running the silent start from the command line with ./cogconfig.sh -s an error is throwing during startup:
Failed to launch a test JVM with the current memory setting.
Further details may be present in the GUI or in the cogconfig_response.csv file:
ERROR, "[Launching a JVM using 'Maximum memory in MB']", "Failed to launch a test JVM with the current memory setting.
Details from the JVM :
