Problem

This technote identifies an IBM® Rational® ClearQuest® Eclipse RCP client defect that causes the error, "A Runtime Error has occurred. Do you wish to debug?", when attemoting to access the Help documents. It also provides you with information on how to workaround the issue.

Symptom

When a user accesses the menu option Help --> Help Contents, searches for "Result", and selects the first returned help article "Viewing executed configured test case results", the following error occurs:


A Runtime Error has occurred. Do you wish to debug?
