Error 'The request failed with HTTP status 502: Bad Gateway' when running database optimise

Troubleshooting

Problem

Superuser enters single-user mode, and clicks 'Maintain - Database - Optimise'. User ticks 'Remove Period Zero Values' and 'Rebuild Structure Tables', then ticks 'Select All', and tickes 'Rebuild Indexes'. User clicks 'play' to start the Database optimise. Afer a few minutes (when the progress has changed to 'Regenerating Summation Structures...') the user receives an error message.
