Problem

The following error displays trying to connect to the protected Repository stored in SQL Server:

REP01004. The following error has occurred while accessing database: DAL01008. An error occurred while accessing the database.

Procedure or function 'RSBI$bidbct$check_catalog' expects parameter '@p1_catalog_id', which was not supplied.

Symptom

Using QMF for Workstation v12.2, to connect to  SQL Server 2016 protected Repository, via SQL Server JDBC Driver 8.2 the following error message displays:

REP01004.
The following error has occurred while accessing database; DAL01008. An error occurred while accessing the database.
Procedure of function 'MSSQL$bidbct$check_catalog' expects parameter '@p1_catalog_id', which was not supplied.
