Question
I receive Error: NAV_302130: Failed to view the printer output, when trying to view spooled file as PDF in Navigator for i. How can I resolve the error?
Cause
Message CPF3492 Not authorized to spooled file.
User does not have authority to work with other user's spooled files.

From the QMGTOOLS: HTTPAdmin Collector for IBM i: https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/qmgtools-httpadmin-collector-ibm-i data, in the /QIBM/UserData/OS/AdminInst/admin1/wlp/usr/servers/admin1/logs/messages.log file, found message CPF3492 Not authorized to spooled file.
For a user to be able to work with another user's spooled files, the user must have *SPLCTL special authority. If not, the user must have *JOBCTL special authority and the output queue that the spooled file resides must have the appropriate values for Display Data (DSPDTA), Operator Controlled (OPRCTL) and Authority to Check (AUTCHK) parameters.
