Error message in Maximo using SAML authentication: "The connection to the server is lost"

Troubleshooting


Problem

After doing an ADFS implementation for Maximo, users may see "The connection to the server is lost. When the connection is re-established, an attempt will be made to resend any failed events"

After refreshing the browser, the following XML message displays:
