Problem

We are getting the error message "LDAP - Can't Connect Code 91" when trying to create a new instance.

Diagnosing The Problem

Running a ping and nslookup command against the hostname used for the LDAP server returned different IP addresses.

Resolving The Problem

Try replacing the hostname with the fully qualified DNS address, or use the IP address directly.
