Error: "java.lang.NullPointerException" when applying SiteProtector updates

Troubleshooting


Problem

Users might find that they receive "java.lang.NullPointerException" when attempting to update SiteProtector components.

Symptom

The following error is displayed when the update fails and can also be seen in the spConsole_Trace.txt log:

java.lang.NullPointerException
