Troubleshooting
Problem
Unable to receive a Direct Issue Purchase Order in the Receiving application.
Symptom
STEPS:
1. Create a Purchase Order record and enter a Vendor.
2. On the POLINE, enter an item and then enter the GL Debit account.
3. Save and approve the PO.
4. Go to the Receiving application and bring up the same PO.
5. Click "Select Ordered Items" and then select the POLINE line item.
6. Save the record. This results in the following error:
Click OK and save. You will receive another error: "BMXAA4191E - Item TESTITEM is not valid".
Click OK and save again. You will receive the same error: "BMXAA1827E - Please enter either an item or description to complete this transaction."
