Problem
This technote explains how to resolve an issue that can occur where the error [] Error: Internal VIEW DB error, operation 'D_CRTYPE' on object 'INODE_OID_SET' failed: -901[], is reported in the view logs and some views become inaccessible on the view server when using IBM® Rational® ClearCase® (CC).
Symptom
The following errors are reported in the view log:

If the view_server for a specific view is stopped and restarted, the problem goes away. However, the problem may occur for other views on the system.
