Troubleshooting


Problem

Attempting to upload an attachment to an artifact in Engineering Test Management (ETM) using Microsoft Edge throws the error:

File upload failed: The server or file upload service is not responding, or an invalid fully qualified file name was provided, or the attachment is larger than the maximum attachment size. To increase the maximum attachment size change the com.ibm.rqm.planning.service.integration.AttachmentUtilService property under the Advanced Properties in Server Administration.

Symptom

Users are unable to upload attachments to test artifacts using Microsoft Edge. The same attachments can be uploaded to the same artifacts by the same users from Internet Explorer, Firefox or Google Chrome. 

The error is:

File upload failed: The server or file upload service is not responding, or an invalid fully qualified file name was provided, or the attachment is larger than the maximum attachment size. To increase the maximum attachment size change the com.ibm.rqm.planning.service.integration.AttachmentUtilService property under the Advanced Properties in Server Administration.
