Resolving The Problem
This is a known issue and has been fixed in the upcoming Rational Functional Tester (RFT) version 8.6.0.3. For older versions of RFT, you will need to install the extension manually.
Workaround
- Launch Mozilla Firefox
- Drag and drop the file FunctionalTester\bin\enabler\RFTFirefoxExtension.xpi on to Firefox. It will prompt you to Install install the extension
- Restart the browser
- Enable the extension through Tools->Add-ons.
Note: You will not be impacted if the extension was already present and enabled before the upgrade.
