Problem
This technote explains how to resolve an Error creating internet address for default sender, that can occur when using IBM Rational Team Concert.
Symptom
No one receives any automated email from Rational Team Concert. An "Error creating internet address for default sender" occurred in ccm.log when using Rational Team Concert. In ccm.log, the following error is captured:

javax.mail.internet.AddressException: Missing '<' in string ``<Jazz Admin <jazz_admin@example.com>>'' at position 36
