Problem
Attempts to bring IDS server online after the upgrade from 9.40 to 11.50 results in ERROR: Could not initialize the security subsystem when using IBM Informix Dynamic Server (IDS).
Symptom
IDS server cannot come online after the upgrade from 9.40 to 11.50 and gives
ERROR: Could not initialize the security subsystem.
