"Error Code : 800708c5 - The password does not comply with the password policy..." trying to reset user's password

Troubleshooting


Problem

Customer is trying to use the IBMCloud management portal tool (also known as 'AD Manager Plus') to reset a user's password. When they try to reset the user's password, they get an error.

Symptom


Error Code : 800708c5 - The password does not comply with the password policy requirements. Check the minimum password length, password complexity, and password history requirements.
