When working in Report Studio, save a report in location where the user does not have write access to no error comes up saying the report cannot be saved. Even the name of the report changes from new and unsaved report "New*" to the given name. This leaves the impression all is fine and saved. But when leaving Report Studio and looking for the report it has not been saved.
When user is logged in through the IBM Cognos Gateway, there is no error message and the report name switches from "New*" to the name given but report has not been saved at all.
When user is logged in through the IBM Cognos Dispatcher, an error pop-up comes up saying:
CM-REQ-4012 - You do not have the appropriate access to update or delete the object */..../..../* or related object.
