Error 'The cell you are trying to change is protected' when using a form with movement accounts

Troubleshooting


Problem

User has updated a form with a new movement account. Some of the columns in the form are grey and cannot be used for data-entry. When the user tries to do this, they receive an error message.

Symptom

The cell or chart you are trying to change is protected and therefore read-only.

To modify a protected cell or chart, first remove protection using the Unprotect Sheet command (Tools menu, Protection submenu). You may be prompted for a password.
