Troubleshooting
Problem
This technote addresses the scenario where attachments cannot be added to records in a Maximo Application Suite (MAS) environment named "R1AC". This occurs even though the doclink system properties in R1AC seem to match a working environment (R1AT).
The user receives a pop-up message indicating "The browse function is not supported on this browser" and instructs them to enable a specific browser security setting. This specific issue was identified in an environment where a Persistent Volume Claim (PVC) named "/DOCLINKS" was configured for R1AC.
The System Request Engineer (SRE) team confirmed that a mount path was correctly configured for the R1AC environment.
The system properties related to doclinks were validated to ensure they matched the functioning environment (R1AT).
The "Manage Folders" setting within Maximo was adjusted to "/doclinks/subfolder" based on the required path specifications.
