Troubleshooting
Problem
To set a time period for data retention and index rollover, users can access the Advanced Settings in the Analytics service. For more information about accessing the Advanced settings refer to the documentation page Configuring data retention and index rollover time periods
While trying to access the Analytics Service’s advanced settings, users might get an error if their user doesn't have the required permissions.
Symptom
The UI might show an error like:
