Problem
If you submit edits for an XML file that contains a CDATA section, the DataPower appliance throws an Error 500. The same error occurs if the file ends with: ]]><
Symptom
When you edit an XML file and click the Submit button in the DataPower WebGUI, an HTTP 500 response code error (shown below) will occur if there is a CDATA section in the file, or ]]>< at the end of the file.
Error 500: Internal Error
An internal error has occurred.
