Entry Template dates show a default value of current date

Troubleshooting


Problem

Date field in a document entry template created in ICN has a default value of the current date. This can be misleading thinking the field is auto populated when it's actually a NULL value.

Symptom

Adding a document with an entry template shows the following for a date field:

Resolving The Problem

Starting in 2.0.3 FP4 there is an option in the "Layout editor" of the entry template to hide the hint for the date field. When this is selected, there will be no hint with the current date. The field will be blank.
