Summary
Instructions for enrolling devices in to MaaS360 using Apple streamlined enrollment via Apple Business or School Manager (formerly referred to as Apple Device Enrollment Program, or DEP).
Environment
iOS device that is registered in Apple Business Manager or Apple School Manager.
Device must be in a new or factory reset condition for this enrollment.
Steps
To get started, turn on the device and navigate through the initial prompts for language and region. Connect to the appropriate wifi or cellular network.
The device will begin enrollment automatically. Users may review the remote management screen, but may not skip the process. Select Next.
The user input field will vary depending on organizational settings, but the options are:
Username

Username & Domain
Email Address
Email Address
If the organization is using SAML credentials for enrollment, you will be re-routed to the SAML login page.
Device Ownership selections are determined by the organization and can not be altered.
Enter your password and select Continue.
Accept the MaaS360 Terms and Conditions as well as any organizational T&Cs that may be presented. Select Continue.
Once the enrollment is complete, you will be presented with any setup screens that your organization has elected to keep as part of the activation process. If they have selected none, you will be brought directly to the home screen.
The MDM Profile is visible from the Settings app on the device.
Enrollment is now complete! Any apps that your organization has distributed may start installing automatically, despite the absence of an Apple ID.
