To view the end of service date along with general availability and end of marketing dates for any supported IBM product:
- Go to the IBM Software Support Lifecycle home page.
- Enter the product name and version, for example "IMS 15.4".
- Click Search.
- Scroll down to the product you are interested in. Or, enter cntl-F to display a search box, then enter the product you want to find and click Next. You might have to change the "Items per page" to a higher number and (or) click Next to view additional pages.
- Find the end of service date under the column entitled "End of support".
- Click the date in the "End of support" column to view the announcement letter.
- Click the desired product in the "Product name" column to display the details page view which also contains the End of Marketing (EOM) date.
Note that products might not all display on the Lifecycle page after the EOS date.
For information about the availability of support extensions see the IBM software support lifecycle policy page. If you would like to find out how to get an IMS service extension, contact your local IBM Sales Representative:
- US Customers, contact Customer Support Operations at 877-426-6006. If you give the support representative your customer number they can find your sales representative.
- Customers in other geographies should refer to the IBM directory of worldwide support contacts to find sales contact numbers in your region.
